Chinese New Year
yay! angpow season has begun! lol, okok, actually its about family reunions, peace and goodwill to all and prosperity to everyone. yeah! i met up with my cousins whom i haven't seen since er, more than 5years? well, did you know that Chinese New Year has GOOD FOOD?!bah kua: wah that is a real killer! it tops the chart of supergood food during Chinese New Year. its super unhealthy and i heard you gota run ard 2km to burn it all off. its from pigs and it is roasted? i think. its really oozing with fats and oil but it tastes super super good! however, their current prices are atrocious! RIP OFF!!
pineapple tarts: wah, another heavenly dish. you can just sit there and stuff yourself till it comes out of your ears. the pineapple paste is really good! really
white chalky biscuits: i duno wad its called but they look like their made from chalk. Really white and its really a good go-between when eating salty and sweety foods. cos of its plainess.
Chocolates and Sweets: what's Chinese New Year without these! hmm..actually what's all the other festivals without these..the highlights are the rabbitsweets! wah, that rocks! it has a thin film of rice paper wrapped around a creamy milky sweet and it can melt in your mouth..but does it melt in your hands?? And the chocolate golden coins! but somehow i don't find them realy nice
Nuts: yes! nutz!! the main appetisers when your waiting for relatives to arrive or when your just chatting! hence the perfect companion among friends.
Fried Prawn Rolls: Man, that is also heavenly! its rather spicy so its a perfect companion of a nice bowl of fruit punch and a few assorted chocolates
Loveletters: absolutely cruchy and you can pretend that your are smoking! wah so cool..well, some of us actually don't have to pretend anymore lol!!
