hello thailand!
went to thailand for the hols. Was damn good. Like shopping everyday! Stayed at Asia Hotel which has this MRT line beside it so its very easy to go to shopping districts and bazaars. Anyway, i finally tried thai tom yum and it is unbelieveably nice! it looks quite spicy but the one i had was delicious. It had that sharp sour taste but you can taste the curry and aromatic spices.
Oh, speaking of such delicacies, one must go to Siam Paragon next time one goes to Bangkok. That place has like the International Food Fair going on all day every day of the year. There is this neat Aquarium there that has loads of interesting stuff from cuttlefish, sharks to penguins and otters. Well, okok, the foood..get this:
I had a chicken teriyaki set in a high class Japanese restaurant in Siam Paragon, for 4 bucks! Not just that, our total bill came to S$60!! And we had like ton katsu, 2 mixed sushi platters, loads of other stuff plus more other stuff that will probably cost like $1000 if u go and eat in Shangri-la. It was dirt cheap!! And they are nicely ornamented so u dun get the feel that u r in some low class restaurant somemore!! Can still taste the teriyaki sweet sauce...
They also have Mcdonald's (yay), KFC (yay) and Burger King(yay) side by side!

well, i got it on the 2nd try la. It was God's plan anyway cos he wanted to show me something but wah, i almost didn't make it! the driving test is very very strict lar. they penalise for a lot a lot of stuff..like never check mirror, never signal, never check blindspot...
i kanna penalised very heavily for the part on the never check rear mirror! loool! like kanna 4 times hahahah!! I was quite scared i was gonna fail. I wasn't worried that i would embarass myself by telling my frens i failed 2x. But i was afraid of letting my parents down loool!! And wah heng sia, the tester! almost gave my a fright when he interrogate me abt my mistakes like striking the kerb..and in the end, he tick the box: PASS!! WHEE! Oh well, past already. Can heck care! check on dun check, doesn't matter now!! wahahahah! license to KILL already :)
*to those aspiring learners, HAVE FUN!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Cos it takes soooo loooonnng before you get the little card that says u r a driver!
well, you know, last time. you see people got license u go like wahhh...so pro r. then when you get license liao and u see people DRVIE CAR, you cry cos you got car...(hint hint) i want a lambo gallardo! Actually a BMW will do nicely haha.
